Tuesday evening is the president’s State of the Union address.  No matter which side of the aisle you fall on (although rumor has it some members of the house are thinking of breaking tradition and encouraging members to intermingle) you can watch and listen in many formats this year.

In addition to the tradition State of the Union, shown on television, broadcast, you can now watch it on the Internet, live, on many websites.

But the real story is that you can follow the event on Twitter, Facebook and if you stay with us “after the break” we’ll tell you how to follow it on your iPad, with an app, too!

The White House app is available in the Apple App Store for free, and while an iPhone app it is also compatible with your iPod Touch and iPad.  Follow the speech on your iPad for additional content and a unique perspective.

Not had enough?   On Thursday, January 27th at 2:30 p.m. EST, President Obama will answer your questions in a live YouTube interview from the White House.  If you would like the opportunity to participate submit your text or video question and vote your favorites to the top.
