Access Your Desktop with Remotix iOS App

I use LogMeIn Ignition remote viewer app for my iPad and iPhone. I was lucky enough to pick it up for $15 last fall in a back-to-school special. Right now they are charging $149.99! Yes you read that right! A penny short of $150 bucks! That’s crazy and unless your company is picking up the cost you probably are going to pass on it for now. If you can get your company to pay for it it’s still the top of the line remote access app for iPads and iPhones and you’ll read as such in our full review of [...]

AntiCrop; Because Sometimes Life is Outside the Borders!

Ever wish that you could extend a picture for better symmetry or added intrigue? We are all well aware of what cropping (cutting off parts of a photo) can do to emphasize an element within a photograph, but have you ever stopped to consider what it would mean to be able to ADD onto a picture AFTER it is taken? Well now you can, with the AntiCrop app for iPads by Adva-Soft!

That, in a nutshell, is what AntiCrop is capable of doing. By copying the part of the photo adjacent to the expansion it fills in your picture. It does [...]

iColorama for iPad; Ultimate in Photo Effects!

Sometimes, since we see so many apps day in and week out, we feel that we couldn’t possibly test yet another photo editing app for iPads. BUT then along comes an app like iColorama for iPad by Talonsodev! We had so much fun playing with this app this morning! It is truly amazing in all the effects it can muster that you just have to see it to believe it.

This video will give you a nice overview of just some of the effect that iColorama is capable of. Note that the use of masks, single or multiple, allows you to [...]

Curate Stories with NEW Storify App for iPads!

Storify, a web-based curation (The act of curating, of organizing and maintaining a collection of artworks or artifacts) tool has been around for almost a couple years now. It was actually named as one of the top 50 websites of 2011 by Time Magazine! BUT it stepped up to a major player this week with the release of their app for iPads! Now with simple drag and drop actions you can add, subtract, move and publish a story about anything, anywhere!
So what is curation? We all know what a curator at a museum or art gallery does. They curate, or pick [...]

Touch Type on Your iPad!?

Love your iPad but wish you could touch type on it? Well up until now you had to use the Apple wireless keyboard, which I have to say I love. However a brand new app called TypeWay gives you a simulated touch typing experience you might want to check out!
While still not the same as touch-typing on a regular keyboard that gives you the little raised bumps on your “F” and “J” keys and the bouceback of keys actually depressing it is possible to get more of the touch-typing experience with the TypeWay app for iPads.

I wish there was a [...]

One request we get emails for all the time is a simpler way to be able to download files to your iPads and iPhones.  After all, shouldn’t it be as simple as when you download files from the Internet to your computer?  To be quite honest we get requests for reviews all the time for apps that will download videos to your devices, however that’s all they do. Until now! This is what, in my eyes, sets this app apart from the rest.
