... an Apps for iPads Review!

Jellybean Tunes is a cute way to teach your young children all about how notes, on a staff, make music!  This app for iPads devloped by Garry Froelich, features musical notes that look like none other than, what else, jellybeans, complete with silly faces!  Play! Learn! Create! Jellybean Tunes is a GREAT introduction to playing, reading and creating music for kids of all ages!

Made by the parents of a preschooler, Jellybean Tunes introduces children to the musical staff through lessons and fun activities!  Garry is also a member of Moms With Apps, a collaborative group of family-friendly developers seeking to promote quality apps for kids and families, of which Apps for iPads is also a member.

Jellybean Tunes is set up in three fun sections; Play, Learn and Create.

In the Play section your child opens up a songbook containing a dozen children’s favorite songs. They simply tap on each note as they scroll by to play the song!

Learn is made up of 1/2 dozen lessons that teach your child all the basics of making music:

• Basics
• Position
• Flats and Sharps
• Length
• Rests
• Measures
