...an Apps for iPads Review
Princess Arabella Wants to Play, developed by RumdeeDum and based on the Princess Arabella books written by Mylo Freeman, is an interactive e-book for children from four to ten years of age, that will delight your child in its antics and adventure.
A few years ago someone told Mylo a story about a little surinam girl named Jahkini. Jahkini was offered a role in a schoolplay to play the part of princess, but she refused. ’There’s no such thing as a black princess, there’s no way I can play that part!’, she answered. After Mylo heard that story, she decided to do something about it. She created a picture book about a little strong-willed princess with beautiful brown skin called Arabella.
In the meantime 4 books have appeared about princess Arabella and even a musical theater-play written by Marielle van Sauers. Now Princess Arabella stars in her very own iPad app!
