...it's almost as good as being there!
We lived across the street from an athlete that just missed the 2012 Summer Olympic Games by a fraction of an inch. We have followed Sheena’s athletic career for years even after moving from that city 10 years ago, the same time she and our youngest son went off to college. It was so heart-breaking to learn that her longest triple jump, while good enough to get her second place in the Olympic qualifier, was not long enough by Olympic standards. So she’ll be sitting it out, just like us. I hope she has an iPad because Sports Illustrated just released an iPad app that is going to make it almost like being there in London with our athletes! Sports Illustrated Live from London!
As you can see in our video-walkthrough Sports Illustrated is bringing you everything all rolled up in one convenient app. They promise up-to-the-second, not minute, updates! Follow your favorite sport or athlete all in the comfort of your own home when you want to access it. With the games a full 6+ hours away for anyone in the United States it’s nice not to always have to rely on television broadcasts. This app gives you interviews, medal stats, historical stats, gorgeous Sports Illustrated photography AND video! All at the tap of your finger!
