Rounding out the Apps for iPads Twitter application week,  today we have Tweeterena 2 on the block.

Tweeterena, at first glance, is pretty simplistic. However, lurking behind the scenes is a good iPad app with LOTS of options.  This app offers things that no one else does; you can actually set up NEW Twitter accounts without ever leaving the application, no one else has that capability. You can add multiple accounts, navigate between Tweet URLs, and accomplish all the normal functions that one expects from a Twitter iPad app. But on top of that Tweeterena allows users to follow Twitter trends, top URL links and access to every tweet, as they occur, all around the world! Confident in their iPad app, developers Andrew Weekes and Dominic Wroblewski even give users easy access to support, through both Twitter and email, right within the application.

The only things lacking in Tweeterena 2 is a forward button within URL links and the ability to be able to save pages with Instapaper or Read it Later, both available in the official Twitter app.  While I prefer the official Twitter app, I give Twitterena 4 stars out of 5 for all their options and versatility. Twitterena is available free, in the Apple App Store. Watch our video review and try out Twitterena for yourself.  While its been around awhile it still offers more than some of the new apps in the store, or on your iPad.
